The St. Rita staff, and community extend its prayers and sympathy on the loss of your loved one. We want you to know that we are here to assist you during this difficult time.
St. Rita is honored to have the opportunity for any individual to receive the liturgical blessings of a Catholic funeral. There are no registration or religious requirements for those who wish a funeral mass for their loved one. People sometimes feel that if they are not a practicing Catholic or a registered member of St. Rita, they are not worthy or allowed to have a funeral mass. That is not true. We welcome the chance to share God’s loving mercy through a funeral mass.
There are several links below that will help your family begin discussing the selection of scripture readings and liturgical music for the funeral. Please contact our Pastoral Minister, Julie Cohn, 671-1100 ext. 103. Julie will answer any questions you may have and arrange a meeting to assist in planning the funeral mass.
