VISION STATEMENT OF SAINT RITA PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL
“To nurture and grow the spiritual vitality of each and every Saint Rita parishioner and support them
along their life journey as Disciples of Christ while fostering a vibrant, engaging, welcoming faith community.”

What’s it all about? The Parish is called by Canon Law 536 and by our Bishop to involve laity in the church.
One way this is fulfilled is by the Parish Council. We serve as a consultative body to the Pastor.
Parish Pastoral Council members represent the Parish Community. We attend monthly meetings (except July and August), and contribute to discussion and decisions regarding the Parish. We serve for three years, except our youth members who serve for one year. Each year new members are selected near Pentecost Sunday.

Our current Council members are:

Gerry Sander (Chair)
Margo Chamberlain (Vice Chair)
Tom Bayer (Secretary)
Liam Clark  (youth)
Graceann Merle (youth)
Jeff Clark
Susan Contois
Joe Holleran
Jeff Kiser
Ron Meagher
Michele Riedl
Leticia Rivera-Andolina
Annette Schiano
Maurini Strub

We pray that these women, men and youth who serve on our Parish Pastoral Council find unity and strength in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
